Hey there, if you, or anyone you know are looking for a cheap car, first car, whatever.... let me know! I want to sell this car before my girlfriend and I move to SC in April of 2010. I've taken good care of this car, always have changed the oil before reaching 5,000mi. I recently changed the oil at 105,000, that was about a week ago. The car comes stock with a
sweet tape deck in the head unit and a 6 disc changer in the trunk.
Since I purchased the car I've put in quite a bit:
All of the work has been done by myself, Dale, and my dad... so there's no cheap ass garage work done on this car...
1. clutch (shortly after purchase)
2. downpipe (shortly after the clutch)
3. E-Brake/Parking Brake cables
4. PaceSetter cat-back exhaust
5. Swapped out the transmission with a Jetta (just a few thousand miles ago)
6. Put in new H7 headlight wiring harnesses
7. Replaced a warped brake rotor on the rear drivers side (a few days ago)
8. Replaced all the brake pads around the car (same time as the rotor)
9. Of course, periodically replaced bulbs and whatnot.
10. I've put LED bulbs in place of the "City Lights"... look much better and won't burn out
I've also blacked out both the VW symbols on the front and back of the car.
The car has great tread on 2 of the tires, but will probably need the other 2 replaced soon.

This is not a very expensive exhaust (only a couple hundred) but it has a nice tone to it, has good flow, and it's not annoyingly loud.
I purchased this car a few years ago with just a little over 70,000mi. on it for $5000. The Blue Book value on this car now is a little under $3,000... throw me a reasonable offer, I need to save up some money!
